Importing a case

You can import a simulation case by using an existing deck with the Import Case form (simulate >IMEX or GEM or STARS >Tools > Import Case).

By clicking on the ellipsis button next to the Simulation case entry field, you can browse and select a simulation input file (*.dat). Optionally you can check the boxes Create grid on import and/or Create wells on import, which creates a simulation grid and/or wells (presuming the grid and/or well description files are available) upon successful import of the case.

After clicking OK, the case is added to the Case Explorer and a new 3D grid and wells can be found in the JewelExplorer.
